The Township aims to use your feedback to create the first-ever community brand.
Come out and show your community pride!
We are undertaking a strategy for developing a community brand. This will involve understanding people across the three pillars of live, work, and visit. The plan is to create a future-focused brand that stimulates economic diversity and promotes the community to potential tourists, residents, and/or investors.
The community brand is not a new Township brand- we are not changing our municipal logo or core brand colours. The community brand is a complementary brand that promotes our community
Project update
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in our Community Brand Survey. Your valuable feedback has been instrumental in shaping the future of our township's brand identity. As we prepare to close the survey, we want to ensure everyone is informed about the next steps:
Survey closure: The online survey closed on March 28th. This means that after this date, we will no longer be accepting responses.
Consolidation & analysis: Our team will meticulously analyze all the responses gathered from the survey, both online and in-person. Every comment and suggestion will be carefully considered.
Brand development: Using your insights, our consultants will work on refining the brand concepts to create something truly representative of Esquimalt's spirit and values.
Playbook creation: The outcomes of this process will be compiled into a comprehensive Playbook. This will serve as a guide for our internal team and anyone representing Esquimalt.
Stay tuned: We'll keep you updated on the progress of our brand development journey through our website and social media channels.
The draft results from the survey and related report are expected early summer 2024
Thank you once again for your enthusiastic participation. Together, we're building a brand that reflects the vibrant essence of Esquimalt!
Examples of community brands used in other B.C. cities.
We are honoured & privileged to work on the lək̓ʷəŋən traditional territory and respectfully acknowledge the people of the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations.
